Assuming you entered search terms not as a question or a lengthy phrase, you should get a list of records for available items.
Apply your desired limiters on the left, for example, limit by Publication Date or to Available in Library (print, hardcopy) or to Full Text Online (ebook). Click on the book title to view its record with information on how to locate the item and find more like it. The first part of the record will tell you if the book is available and where. In this case the book is available in the General Collection on the 3rd floor since the call number starts with BF... Be sure to write down the complete call number to find the book!
The next part of the record will tell you the subject terms used to classify the book. In this case, it's quite a long list. All these are hyperlinks that can be used to find 'more like this':
Finally, the last part of the record will give more details about the book, including either table of contents or a brief description:
