Use the Children's Literature Comprehensive Database.  Enter the term "jungle" and then select a Grade.  There are a few things you need to note.

  1. The term "jungle" is a keyword and not a subject term.  You will therefore retrieve fictional titles set in jungles, etc. in addition to nonfiction works about jungles.
  2. You cannot select more than one age at a time.  In order to find books for ages 3-5, you must be systematic and search each age separately.
  3. This database does not tell you whether Andruss Library owns the titles.  If a title interests you, search for it in PILOT .

You may also use the Advanced Search of WorldCat which will enable you to search for books by subject, but only search by the broad Audience of "Juvenile." For more info, go to the Children's Literature Subject Guide.
